Southshore University College, in collaboration with MediaTech, successfully organized a TV Production & Presenting Workshop on 17th June 2026 at the Postgraduate Executive Suite.
The workshop, themed “From Screen Presence to Studio Production: Building the Next Generation of TV Professionals," brought together aspiring media professionals, students, and industry experts for an engaging and practical learning experience.
Participants benefited from two insightful sessions. The first focused on TV presenting, personal branding, and media communication, equipping attendees with the confidence and skills required for effective on-screen presentation. The second session covered technical television production, where participants gained practical knowledge of studio operations and production techniques.
The event featured presentations by Bethel Chinedu Ahamefule, Head of Marketing at Southshore University College, and Jay Denton, General Manager of MediaTech, who shared their professional experiences and industry insights. Their contributions inspired participants and provided valuable guidance on building successful careers in television and media.
Attendees also received Certificates of Participation in recognition of their involvement. The workshop was a resounding success, leaving participants better equipped with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation needed to pursue opportunities in the television and media industry.
