Dr Nadia Zahoor

Biography

Dr Nadia Zahoor is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Strategy at the School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London. She previously held faculty positions at the University of Strathclyde, the University of Central Lancashire and the University of Huddersfield, and holds a PhD in Management from Huddersfield Business School and an MBA with distinction in International Business from the University of Greenwich Business School. Her research concentrates on two interrelated areas of international strategy and entrepreneurship. The first examines how alliance networks among small and medium-sized enterprises are formed and managed; the second addresses how those networks enable SMEs to achieve sustainability, innovation and internationalisation. Her research, teaching and enterprise activity has attracted grant support in excess of £48,000. She sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Asia Business Studies and is a guest editor of a Journal of International Business Studies special issue on microfoundations. Her work has appeared in the Global Strategy Journal, The Leadership Quarterly, the British Journal of Management, the International Journal of Management Reviews, the International Small Business Journal, Technovation, the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, the International Business Review and Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others, and has attracted close to 3,000 citations.
