International students

From anywhere in the world, to the West African coast.

Southshore welcomes students from across Africa and beyond — English-medium teaching, an international community on campus, and support from your first enquiry to graduation.

Why Southshore

Why Ghana?

International students choose Ghana for its stability, its warmth and its place at the heart of West Africa — and they choose Southshore for the formation that comes with it.

Safety & stability

Ghana is consistently ranked among Africa's most peaceful and stable countries, with a welcoming culture and English as the official language.

English-medium education

All Southshore programmes are taught in English, so you can focus on your studies from day one without a language barrier.

A West African hub

From Accra and the Volta Region you can reach the continent's fastest-growing markets — and a regional alumni network that travels with you.

Student Testimonials

Student stories

I chose Southshore because the teaching is in English and the campus felt welcoming from my first video call. The international community here made the move to Ghana feel like arriving somewhere I already belonged.

Being at a West African hub means my coursework is anchored in the problems our region actually faces. The connections I am building here reach across the continent, not just the classroom.

The International Office supported me through the permit, the visa and even my first week on campus. I came for the programme and stayed for the community.
