Biography
Dr Veselina Stoyanova is Associate Professor in Strategy and International Business at Birmingham Business School and Programme Director for the distance learning MSc International Management. Her work explores the intersections of strategy, international entrepreneurship and the cultivation of social impact and sustainability. She examines the orchestration of strategic resources and the pivotal role of dynamic capability development, investigating their micro-foundations within complex organisational settings. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, the Journal of International Management, Management and Organisation Review, the International Small Business Journal and Business & Society. As an educator she works extensively in executive education, building organisational capability to address sustainable development, migration and poverty alleviation, with particular strength in stakeholder engagement and organisational change under conditions of uncertainty
