MSc Computer Science

The Master of Science in Computer Science is designed to equip students with advanced technical expertise and practical skills necessary to exhibit, design, develop, and implement innovative computing solutions in real-world environments. Through a capstone project, students will integrate knowledge across core areas such as software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence to solve complex organizational challenges. Entry requirements

  • A first degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Information Technology and any other related field.
  • students with backgrounds in an appropriate subject for the research topic (eg. statistics, physics, engineering, biology or medicine)
  • English language: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or equivalent
  • Personal statement (500 words) and indicative research interest
  • Two academic or professional recommendations
  • All foreign qualifications shall be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission.

Graduation requirements

  • Students satisfy the requirements of the respective programme of study and all University requirements for graduation.
