Semester 2
Entry requirements
- 1.Candidates with MSc in Statistics, or related disciplines such as Mathematics, and Actuarial Science will gain direct admission to do the one year MPhil programme, after passing an interview.
- 2.Candidates who have obtained B.Sc. (Statistics) with Second Class (Lower) or better, or similar class in related disciplines such as Mathematics, and Actuarial Science will gain admission to do two-year MPhil programme after passing an interview.
- 3.Candidates with postgraduate Diploma can enroll as MSc students
- 4. English language: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or equivalent for international applicants
- Selection of candidates for admission to any programmes shall be by an online interview.
- A personal statement of interest with maximum 500-word count
- Two academic or professional recommendation letters
Graduation requirements
- Participate in at least two seminars and three conferences. Present a thesis with original research (90 credits) and pass the Viva Voce.
- Present two mandatory seminars. Submit all necessary forms to file for graduation
- Satisfy all financial obligations to the university. Complete all degree requirements within the approved timeline
