MBA Marketing

The Master of Business Administration, Marketing programme is aimed at providing participants with advanced knowledge and skills in marketing and preparing them for leadership roles. It Is designed to; 1.Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing concepts and theories, including consumer behaviour, branding, marketing research, and marketing strategy. 2.Develop students' analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling them to analyze marketing data and make data-driven decisions. 3.Enhance students' leadership and management skills, preparing them to lead teams of marketing professionals and drive organizational success. 4.Promote ethical and socially responsible marketing practices, emphasizing the importance of trust and transparency in marketing. 5.Prepare students to adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of marketing, including emerging technologies and new consumer trends.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised University with at least a Second Class, lower division. Applicants should have a post-qualification work experience.
  • a.Applicants who hold membership of a recognised professional body such as Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Secretaries (ICSA), Chartered Institute of People and Development (CIPD), and Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) may be considered for admission.
  • Holders of international qualification equivalent to a degree (for example, Level 6 Diploma in the UK) or graduate diploma. Such equivalence must be approved/confirmed by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
  • Personal statement (500–800 words) outlining motivation and career goals
  • English language: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or equivalent for international applicants
  • Two academic or professional recommendation letters
  • Selection of candidates for admission to the programme shall be by an online interview.

Graduation requirements

  • Complete all required coursework within the approved timeline and passed all the taught courses
  • Present a research thesis of about 10,000 words
  • Submit all necessary forms to file for graduation.
