MA Management

The MA in Management programme addresses the qualities and managerial know-how the student needs to function as an effective and efficient professional. This programme is designed to Prepare graduates for managerial positions in industry, to receive advanced competency-based education in management, to understand how the legal, economic and social environment impact the development and performance of firms, how to use appropriate tools and methods to identify, evaluate and solve real-life business problems and the ability to devise a workable strategy for organizations and communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.

Entry requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in either business or any academic discipline. A good background in MS Office and Statistical Software Packages could be an added advantage.
  • Holders of professional qualification (for example, ACCA, CIMA) must be chartered.
  • Holders of international equivalent to a degree (for example, Level 6 Diploma in the UK) or graduate diploma must be approved/confirmed by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
  • English language: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or equivalent for international candidates
  • Selection of candidates for admission to any of the programmes shall be by Online interview.
  • Personal statement (500 words) and Two academic or professional recommendations

Graduation requirements

  • Complete all required coursework and attend all seminars Pass the taught courses (with a pass mark of 60%)
  • Participate in at least two seminars and conferences Present a dissertation/Long Essay.
  • Submit all necessary forms to file for graduation Complete all degree requirements within the approved timeline
  • Requirement for Graduation: 39 credit hours
