Purpose
Deans and Heads of Department provide academic and managerial leadership within each faculty, ensuring high-quality teaching, scholarship and student experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the academic strategy, staffing and budget of their faculty or department.
- Champion programme quality, student outcomes and graduate employability.
- Develop research, innovation and external partnerships within the discipline.
- Represent the faculty on the Academic Board and Executive Management Council.
Composition
Faculty Deans, Associate Deans and Heads of Department, supported by faculty managers.
Meets
Monthly as the Deans' Forum.
